the evga has an 8-pin cpu plug-in it looks like. make sure your psu has one, unless its backward compatible w/4 pin.

I personally would go for the P5Q, the 750i chipset is horrible for overclocking from what i hear. Plus, i'm a P5Q Deluxe owner

I wouldn't go for the SLI board unless you plan on SLI later.

I wudnt go for an SLI board unless you have the money to buy the two cards aswell as the mobo there an then or very very soon otherwise you end up wasting your money on a temperamental noisey and very unefficiant system. Im with alex get P5Q!

Whats the main difference between the p5q pro and deluxe? I'm just trying to figure out if the extra cost is worth it.

iirc, the Deluxe has 16 phase power, more copper, an extra 4x PCI-E slot and some other stuff.
