Looks like you brits are getting ripped off. Now, I haven't seen any final performance reviews yet, but for an extra ten bucks it seems like a pretty good deal.

bah. highest end, 2xgpu cores, sli, crossfire: spit, curse, and kick the dirt.

ridiculous. i understand why they're $500 here with the tanking d(o)ullar(d), but c'mon...isn't $700 (great british monetary units 460) just a tad...nuts?

there'll be better single cores in 9 months, if not sooner, for cheaper, just in time to prepare for Windows 7, if it really is a fixed version of Win ME Deux that offers features that might be worth paying for. such is silicon...such is software.

ok, this post officially contributed nothing helpful...but my eyes just popped when I saw it was seven hundred bucks if you live in ye ole blighty, not that $500 (when i can build you a serviceable gaming pc for that much) is terribly better.

Prices for the best and newest hardware are always like that. Add the fact that the UK has horrible prices compared to the US just makes it suck to be a computer enthusiast in the UK.

Because a 2 GPU card doesn't need 2 PCIe slots or a SLI/Crossfire compatible mobo.
