    Liquid cooling system users READ!

So when i bought my water cooling (aqua gate S1) system it said to change the fluid every 6 months.. but me being me said ahh f**k it i dont need to change it.. well last week im checking out coretemp readings and im idling @ around 60 degrees C with my E8400 im like holy crap wats goin on here. max temp is 72 for that chip..

i reseat the copper block with new thermal compound thinkin that was the problem.. no it wasent.

so i decide to change the water i picked up some PC PURE coolant from microcenter and WOW wat a differance! i couldn't beleave it

under load it went from 70 degrees down to 50
and idol it went from 55-60 degrees down to 41 (im averaging both cores)

so yea change ur fuild!!!!!!!!! lol

How have ur systems been holding up and what are you u guys using?

Built mine a few weeks ago. It's currently running my Q6600 @ 3.7ghz with 1.45vcore. Idle temps:

    1: 26c
    2: 26c
    3: 21c
    4: 21c

    Load:

    1: 53c
    2: 53c
    3: 48c
    4: 48c

I had it stable at 3.8ghz, but it wanted near 1.55v on the Vcore

The Q6600 is hotter because it has a 65nm die process as opposed to the 45nm of the E8***. If you have any questions or want to know anything, just give me a shout. These are the parts i have:

CPU Block: D-Tek FuZion V2 (Quad nossle chamber)
GPU Block: EK 4870 Full Cover
Pump: Laing DDC Ultra/ XSPC V3 Top
        Radiator: ThermoChill P120.3 w/ 3 x 120mm Xilence Red Wing
        Case: Silverstone TJ07-B
        Res: XSPC Acrylic
        Liquid: Feser 1 UV Black
