Get this if you don't mind non-OCing RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820145184

The Dominators are good choices too if you're willing to spend more on a higher stock speed.
That's the RAM I have. Works fine.

9800GT is fine for up to around 19" I think.

You can probably get a less expensive mobo if you're going to run at stock. No need for 2 PCIe either if you don't want to Crossfire.
me and namakan were thinking the same thing, maybe getting a $80 intel one instead, that would allow for another $50 for parts

EDIT: Im officially getting this MoBo http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...o=3797456&csid

If you get that mobo, Alex will probably ban you and Namakan from the Tech Centre. :p

It really isn't worth skimping on the motherboard, and the Intel ones are no better than buying prebuilt.

Correct answer. Look into the cheap Asus or Gigabyte motherboards.

EDIT: This is post 9001 for me... that's over 9000 for sure?

No cheap Intel mobos! Ever! A cheap Gigabyte, Asus, or Asrock is much better. :rawr

Btw the first review on the page is wrong. 4 eggs since the PCI and PCIe slots are too close, all mobos are like that, it's standardized. At least his tech level on Newegg is "somewhat high" compared to everyone else who just puts "high" on their reviews.
