cod5 instalation error :1305

I get this error when i try to install the game.. Anyone know anyfixes.. the disk isn't scratched or anything is brand new :).. Cheers

Even if the CD isnt actually damaged it may have been created faulty, other than that maybe corrupted windows installer files?

Do you have problems installing other things?

This is not a game specific error. It is most likely damaged media (it can look fine but still be broken) or a faulty DVD/RW drive.

I would suggest downloading an original ISO image file of CoD5 and using your legal CD-Key to run it, see what happens. If the same error occurs, then it looks like a corrupt temp files or a problem with the MSI package.

i dont usually have trouble installing other stuff. I had to disconnect the cd drive due to instaling a new psu and new gpu but il try an iso file and get back to you
