    What do they do exactly? Please give it in the MOST SIMPLEIST WAY POSSIBLE :thumbsup:

    Dear god... where to start.

    The CPU processes data in a binary/machine code fashion. It emulates 1's & 0's by using switching transistors, turning them off an on using a very small current. It's effectively the brain of the computer.

    The motherboard interconnects all parts of the computer and allows data to flow from one part to another such as CPU, GPU, hard disks, sound cards and so on. It also holds the BIOS necessary for starting each component. It supplies power to some components, through copper traces in the boards.

    There is simply too much to explain unless you be more specific.
