    Confused...

What is the TJmax for a Q6600 G0? Some say 95c, some say 100c. It makes a fair difference to load temps and will enable me to safely enter more Vcore if it is lower.

    Anyone know?

I have it set to 95c at the moment, which seems correct, but i've always used 100c up until now.

          If it breaks.

Well, apparently following Intel emails, they were told it was 95c for the Q6600 G0.

I'm going to email Intel myself :p

Just found the official Intel Specs:

              Apparently for a Q6600 G0, it's 90c :|:

Okay... so, all this has done is left me confused. I changed the TJmax to 95c which mainly believe is what the Q6600 G0 is, despite Intel saying it's actually 90c (which is silly).

                      Re: Confused...

Dear god, that sticky is painful to read. From what i gather, a 5c offset is acceptable between the Tjunction and Tcase sensors, thus making Tjunction 95c as opposed to the commonly estimated 100c or Intel spec of 90c.

                      That's good

I settled for 95c, it seems about right for Q6600 G0's. Intel's statement of 90c is too low and 100c is too high. My room is quite cold, but i'm idling at

I'm afraid that there are some things I'll never do for overclocking, and getting pneumonia is one of them. :p
