    Dual Monitor Utility

    Merry Christmas Everybody,

So this morning sitting under the tree was a new 24" monitor and have found that the default windows options just aren't enough, or I don't have a clue where to look. Some of the features i would like are:
    • Smart Task bar - Spands across both screens, places windows on the respective monitors task bar
    • Wallpaper customization ... ability to span 1 wallpaper seemlessly across both monitors or set each one to a different wallpaper.
    • Ability to jump from a game or full screen program on monitor 1 to monitor 2 while still leaving the game / program maximized on monitor 1
    • Set certain windows, programs to open to specific monitors / locations

Thats all i can think of off the top of my head, but im sure you all get a general idea of what i am looking for. Any recomendations would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

Ohh, wow ... thanks. Not sure if the full version is worth buying or not though. The only problem i had with it was i didnt see the option to allow jumping from a game or full screen program on monitor 1 to monitor 2 while still leaving the game / program maximized on monitor 1. The reasoning behind this is while say gaming all my normal chat would be on monitor 2 while the game would be on monitor 1, and i would like the ability to still read chat in - game while browsing the web or chatting on monitor 2.

      Thanks again,
      -Apalis

You're going to have to run in windowed mode because when a game is moved out of focus, many times the device will kill itself to save system resources, then re-create it when you move back into the game. It's hard coded into games.. Running in windowed mode will fix that :)

            Thanks,

I knew the windowed would work but wasnt sure if there was a way around when having it maximized.
