Wireless isn't bad, as long as you don't buy anything of the cheaper stuff. I have a wireless keyboard and wired mouse, I love being able to move around my keyboard and use it as a remote control when watching movies in my couch 5 meters away :P
Believe me, i tried. It turns out it was because of Windows TCP/IP system. I'm sure with decent drivers it might work, but probably not as well as wired :)
Really? My printer is connected to my network though IEEE 802.11g and I love it. Never gives me any trouble, so I assume a PC connected through the same interface should work great as well.
Sorry, wireless printers are different, they work well. I'm talking about wireless mice and especially wireless Internet :rawr
Wireless printers and wireless internet both work over the IEEE 802.11g wireless standard though, so in theory they should work equally well. I have heard many bad things about wireless internet, though.
As for wireless mice, I've only ever had one, and it worked decently. I imagine modern wireless mice should be much better.
Yes, but mini wireless dropouts are much less evident on printers. I always remember just getting small lag on wireless, it just seemed a lot less reliable.
I dont mind it so much n my laptop cuz its worth it for the portability but at uni i put a 25m CAT5e cable up the stairs to a switch in my room for my desktop & server cuz it drives me nuts during gaming!
