Which Pocket Camcorder Should I Get?

Hey guys I want a pocket camcorder for Christmas but I am not sure which one I should ask for. I have found 4 different brands of pocket camcorders that have HD format.

Flip Mino HD (http://is.gd/7RHb)



or

KODAK Zi6 HD (http://is.gd/bGkn)



or

DXG-567V (http://is.gd/1Uw7)



or

Vado HD (http://is.gd/aHOq)

I couldn't find any other ones that was HD and was a pocket style camcorder. If there are any others please link me to them. I am not sure which one I should get. I need to know by tomorrow so please anyone who has any of these let me know what you think or those of you who go by specs let me know which one do you think is worth the money.

Flip costs a little bit more then the other 2 but has some really cool features that might be in the Kodak one im not sure its all too wordy.

Please help, which one should I try to get?

Yea both the audio pickup and color balance seemed better on the Zi6, and the Zi6 cost's less.

So far only one with a big advantage that I see is that the Vado can do 2 hours of HD while all the others can only do 1 hour.

Well I decided on the Kodak Zi6 for several reasons.

I did not choose the DXG because of it is rather bulky and performs poorly in medium to low light compared to some of the others, also the DXG from what I read did not perform well in most tests/reviews and it looked rather bulky and I also didn't like the dumb looking buttons and the screen was very small.

I ruled out the Flip Mino HD because the lack of a card slot really limits the device when compared to the other devices, also this device had an internal battery which could not be replaced or removed and only charged when connected to a PC, while the video quality was very good the other problems helped me in my decision against it.

I had thought a lot about the Creative Vado HD because from what I had seen it had a lot of great options, it had a lithium battery that you could easily take out and replace and buy a 2nd one just in case. Also the video quality was very high but when I saw a video of it in low light when compared to the Flip Mino HD it was VERY VERY poor in low light so I choose against it.

I choose the Kodak Zi6 because it does have the option to add the SD or SDHC cards (I asked for an 8GB SDHC card for xmas with the device, that is the biggest SDHC card i could find) The Kodak Zi6 runs off of 2AA batterys which is the most common thing ever and I don't mind replacing them when they run out because you can always find them compared to a Lithium battery of the Vado HD. Also while the Kodak Zi6's body was rather large it made up for it with a very big screen and I got to hold one of these in Radioshack and it felt very good in the hand. Also the Kodak Zi6 is the only one of these that can record in 60 FPS (Frames Per Second). This device can also take still pictures which is a cool feature.

All these devices have the flip out USB plug into a computer and everyone of them support direct Youtube uploading and come with simple software that runs anywhere (Vado I think only works on Windows and not macs though).

So hopefully in the future if anyone else was looking up these things they will find this thread and be able to make an easier decision.

So I will have a great X-Mas.

You can see footage from the device on the videos i posted above from other people. The vimeo is very high quality only reduces a slight tad.

But Ive been instructed that I must open that gift 1st so i can record and take pictures of everyone opening things.

I have wartched the videos and it has still gone through some form of compression (prior to the one at recording) so getting some raw footage would be of help to me. Id like to test it out in final cut aswell, see how that handles it.
