    Dreamweaver?!?

    Hi guys, i hope this falls under tehc lol.

    I am in a class called Online Communication. ANd we are using a software for web desing called Adobe Dreamweaver 8.0

    I am a complete nub at this, just wondering if some of u guys know some uber guides/ tutorials, i did some googling around and only found one good tutorial really:http://www.kellogg.northwestern.edu/...ver.htm#create

      I used to use dreamweaver a while back. It's a good program, but I never really liked it. dumped it for NVU portable. :p

        Yuk, yuk, yuk. Dreamweaver is almost as bad as MS Frontpage. i've only used pure HTML in Notepad and ConText.

          Guys u can hate all u want on DW, but the uni told us to use that, we are not coding at all. Neways this software is getting on my nerves :s

            The only thing I like about dreamweaver is that you can see what you've coded almost instantly... but it's too demanding for my school laptop lololol

            I think it's easier to code the xhtml+css+javascript yourself, you have sort of more control of what's going on and it's easier to make a general layout to use for many different pages.

                I have used dreamweaver for years this is how I learned HTML. I self taught myself by just messing around with it. It is a very simple and easy to use program with tons of good features WYSIWYG on it is pretty good as well.
