I would have gone with a low end Core 2 Duo instead....

High overclockability compared to AMD, good for people like me who don't want to spend a lot of money.

But if you're not extremely demanding and picky in your performance, it doesn't make that much or a real world different to most people.

yah, its only for my sis and i doubt she will be doing much other than look at facebook, listen to music and occasionally play TF2

8600 GT is more than enough for TF2 on high settings. But it depends on the resolution of course.

Hey, I got the same CPU More than enough for most stuff, if it's for your sis you probably aren't going to overclock anyway.

I think i play tf2 on high on my 8600 at 1280x1024.
