I know I'm spamming it up lately (not really, its all legit stuff :)) but I'm yet stomped again with another thing, being remote access.
Basically I finally got my network working and its secured to only 3 computers with potential access, and I'd like to be able to control em from the one which is what is implied by windows description (like working from a home computer and accessing you're work computer).
My issue though is that I can't seem to get past the file sharing folders. In the beginning I was able to logon to a user account but at the time my other computer did not have a PW which on that system is an automatic lock out for remote access. Then I make a PW and now I have no logon message... This is lame, and why must there be 12 or more different services all corresponding to the same thing of remote access?
In search of help from someone who knows how to set up a remote workstation. Also, laptop is vista and desktop is XP PRo, will there be problems with this?
