    Are these clock speeds correct?

I heard that the ECS 8800GT are underclocked, checked the nvidia web seems ok, what do u guys think?

If u cant see it says:

    GPU Clock: 600MHZ

    Memory: 700MHZ

    Shader: 1500MHZ

The GPU is at stock, but the memory should be at 900mhz. No idea about the shader.

Thnx for the answer, Nvidia.com says the shader at 1500, yeah was worried bout the memory its the only thing wrong. Is 200MHZ a big difference? performance etc.?

It's double data rate memory, so it's really 1400 vs. 1800mhz. Why'd you get an ECS card? :hmm:

I did not get an ECS card, i was upgraded for free by the company.

          http://www.nvidia.com/object/geforce_8800gt.html there ya go.

everything seems fine but that memory clock, is this bad Wizard? like am i missing a great deal of perfromance? Thanks a lot for your help btw

Just manually overclock it to the stock speeds. Be sure to monitor the temperatures though.

            Also, upload larger SS's!

will do on SS mate, was too lazy though yesterday lol :p

I was thinking of doing an OC, but wasnt sure on my cooling will give it a go though. But is it a huge increase or not in performance in the games?, any noticeable differences?

It's a fair improvement. You can overclock, just be sure to monitor the temps in something like Everest.

I don't know about 8800gt's, but my Radeon 4870 has a fair few temp sensors to watch:

                GPU Core - 46c
                GPU Memory - 60c
                GPU Shader - 48c
                GPU VRM - 48c

Well i got both GPU-z and Riva Tuner and at idle the card is 44~45C.

Can you see GPU memory and GPU VRM's. If it's not a full coverage heatsink, those are the ones to be careful of.

Notice all the temperatures. Look for the VRM ones and Memory ones on your card:

Does your heatsink cover the ram chips and the capacitors on your 8800GT?
