    Doesn't matter really. The MX518 is optical, and that works fine.

      so i shoulda bought the lycosa? my mx revolution has a laser but its not swichable dpi

      my first gaming mouse was a 7.99$ by wise tech LOL optical mouse and i use to destroy the comp in rainbow six 3 ravenshiled with it ..

        Dunno. Being able to switch DPI is a massive plus for me. I switch DPI in real time as i shoot in games. I go from ultra sensitive to unresponsive in a millisecond just before i fire. Gives me extra accuracy :)

          yea thats why i got it ..all the mice i ever had ..had no swiching of the dpi not to mention you can now change the sensitivity with thex and y axes on the fly also..seems interesting to play with...

            I love the Stinger... I got it free from Cyber Snipa along with the Warboard, and the Sonar 5.1.... I gave the Warboard to my little brother since I have a G11, but I still use the Stinger and Sonar headset... I love them both. With the stinger you can store your profiles into the mouse, and change them on the fly, and you can change the DPI on the fly, what's cool with that, the LED for the scroll wheel changes for those settings.
