two new toys

well folks i have two new toys, one is beeing deleiverd and will be here soon. thats my new logitech z 5500s so i can tick off the neighbor with cod5 hehe. an i cant wait for them to get here i got a good deal on them new from dell.

and i bought one of them dang zboards an i dont know. if im not use to it or jsut dont like it i guess its going to take. some time to get use to it but the way things look right now. the thing may very well go back tomorrow

Which Zboard is it? The one with the swappable keysets or the merc with the gaming part off to the side?

I have the one with the swappable keysets and love it. I've left the gaming one on continuously for a while, though. I had the BF2 keyset at one time, but the jump key got screwed up. I took it off to clean it and discovered that there is a little metal arm that keeps it straight. It's freaking impossible to get that thing back on once you've taken it off. So I twisted it into 3 pieces and put it in the trash. No more BF2 keyset.

Let that be a lesson, don't remove the spacebar or jump key from a Zboard. You might not be able to get it back on properly and end up screwed.

it is the one with switchable keysets i guess i will just have to get use to it. then i use my G15 to type and watch my preformance monitor.the next items i will be getting i guess is 4 more gigs of the g.skill ram. and that will put me up to 8 gigs of memory. but i dont know if i will decide to do that or not. i get awsome performance from 4 gigs in vista 64. plus ive got a 4870 with 512 but i really cant wait. untill i get my speakers hehe ive needed a new set for a while now.

the set i currently have is the old logitech x 620 6.1 surround sound. i bought them while i was living in oakridge tenn. and ive got 2 bad speakers its been a good set speakers i think. bought them back in 2004 they have played battlefield 2 all the expacks battlefield 2142 and cod 4. plus other games such as black hawk down and joint ops. so they have done there deed worth every penny i spent on them. which was like 60$ i think new. i remember when i got them i was living in the apartment complex where we were working. on the seccond floor and there was a lady below me who came in the office one day. mad because i played my games too lloud she said it sounded like a war. lol and she was complaning to the office manager an they told her that i worked here an they have not had any other complaints. anyway ill stick the keyboard out a few more days to see if i can get my hand use to it. been so use to using the arrow keys on the right hand side of the keyboard. kind of takes some time to get use to it i suppose.

well the keyboard is going back thats for sure. ill spend the money on something else heh. but i cant wait for my 5500s heh i got a few pics i can. rattle off the wall thats for sure hehehe
