A bit off topic, but is that the Nehalem stock cooler in the last pic? Looks interesting, half the fins are copper and other half are aluminum.

Yes I believe it is, btw im not sure if they are half/half it might be painted...Not sure..

pci card slot looks unusable in crossfire

too expensive for my blood, anyway. top slot looks like it's for asus' bundled audio card, though. decent enough--came with my p5e x38

really like the esata and the dual lan, though. and yes, it is a very shecksy chunk of electronics. looks like they've managed to knock the towers'n'rollercoasters down a bit. should make it more convenient to plug in aftermarket hsf's. next time, i'm just going with a backplate--i hate lga775 socket design even more than 478

I like the external LCD poster; I'm sure that could be modded to do some cool stuff.

Looks like the same stuff as what comes with other high-end Asus boards.

I don't like the "Extreme OC" buttons through, they look tacky. The ones on the Maximus Formula looked better, and the text lit up too. :p
