Upgrading GPU, which one?

Ok, so I'm throwing the x1950 in my "home" computer and putting a 4850 into the "gaming" computer. I've looked through newegg, and for the most part, I'm seeing the same issues. OVERHEATING like crazy. So Let me know what you guys think of these cards:

you dont have to worrie about overheating, its how the cards are designed, if it bothers you there is a guide here on the forums that shows how you can speed up the fan.

this one is good if you want to overclock it...

if price is a problem, then just go with the cheapest

Id say go for the cheapest, they will all perform within 1 or 2 fps of each other. The only one with an advantage is the final one with aftermarket cooling on it, not worth the extra cost over the base model.

balance it between cheapest and longest warranty.

all three first links were between 4850's. all will be reference as far as performance.

visiontek makes decent stuff; it's what i've been using as my gpu for the past coupe of months.

^edit: gddr5 is just that freakin' good.

4870 isn't that much more expensive, and worlds apart as far as 12-18 month future games go.

4870 is definitely a good choice. Be sure to get 1GB version. If budget is limited, then get 4850 with 1GB. I personally think it's a bad time to get expensive cards, since DX11 is on the horizon. I would say 4850 with 1GB is probably better choice now, since we all know that we'll be upgrading 1.5 years from now on, when DX11 games pop out like whack-a-mole game.
