Whats a good program I can use to burn Mp3 songs to a CD?

I need one that does it to normal Audio CD format because my mums car doesn't have an MP3 compatible stereo player.

I created about 7 shiny coasters last night trying to get this sorted, mostly because my burner is a piece of crap.

I ended up using Total Audio Converter to change them all to WAV and then used Nero (I know but it was the only program that actually worked) to burn them. It was freaking annoying.

whats wrong with nero? Its a lot better than it used to be back in the old days.

Near enough any MP3 playing software should be able to burn them as an audio CD but the roxio cd/dvd suite was always quite good (havent used it in a while now though).

ok I just tried burning using iTunes which seemed to take ages for a few songs and now my cd won't eject >.>

EDIT:

Ok I just tried it using WMP and the burning went fine but it still wont play on the CD player..
The files are all exactly the same as a normal audio CD you buy from a shop (.cda) why doesnt it work?? >.< this is sooooooooooooooo frustrating!!

tbh you don't even need a program for it. Both Vista and XP have a built-in function to burn both audio and data CD's

Yeah I know but will it convert it to the correct format to play on a normal CD player?

I just always open up nero > burn audio cd > select my files > done!


It shouldn't be that difficult to do.

Or you could invest in a FM Radio transmitter. Play your cdplayer/ipod/mp3 player over your car's radio. If you get a decent one the quality is quite good.

Or you could invest in a FM Radio transmitter. Play your cdplayer/ipod/mp3 player over your car's radio. If you get a decent one the quality is quite good.

This does a MUCH better job for a lot less as long as your stereo has an Audio in socket.. But like I said I need it on a CD..
