microphone problem

hey from BFE :salute:

just a quick problem, im sure there is a quick solution which i cannot figure out lol

Headset: Icemat Audio, detachable mic wire

Problem: came on Vent today and i kept cutting out, plugged the mic in and out of the back of my pc and now dont get anything, i fiddled with some settings as usual but i only ever get anything about of the mic if i shout into it, and then only for a split second aswell, i tried loads of settings on TS, Vent and my soundcard but i cant figure it out

would love some help

Do you have another computer you can test the mic on just to be sure it isnt that thats busted?

fixed it just started working after a restart, wierd
