    IE password protect ??

How can I password protect IE so that anytime the IE app is called to load, it will ask for a password ??
    Correct password = internet access
Incorrect password = no internet access.

I have a computer at my work that I use for work stuff , but sometimes people sit at my desk and go web surfing. I want to stop them.

I've searched everywhere and have found nothing. Seems this should be pretty simple:hmm:

Locking your PC is the best solution, make sure you have a good password though.

If you only want to block internet explorer (I'm guessing they won't be able to download and install firefox/chrome?) then you can search for an application blocker... I don't think IE has a password protect thing, it might do but I can't find it...

Try something like this. (but I'm sure there is probably a good free-ware application blocker somewhere, that was just the first site I came across)

I can't lock the whole pc because it has to be available to people for other uses also.

There is a way to password protect through "content advisor" under "internet options" but it not only asks for the password when opening IE, but again asks for it for every website you open.
