      They are a separate site merely sharing the same domain system.

      There are multiple reasons why it isn't feasible. It's not coming any time soon, so let's leave it that and get back to my banging guide.

              Thanks for the article and clarification on a few things Alex. I have the same CPU and the Asus P5E motherboard and this article persuaded me to do overclocking again.

              What I really like what you did was actually provide the tools needed to check your system out. With all the tools out there, its hard knowing what are the reliable ones and really work.

                I managed to jump up to 3.2GHz simply by increasing the FSB to 400MHz and dropping the RAM back down to 1066MHz, without touching voltages.

                    Not entirely sure yet; haven't had enough time to do a proper stress test, but that kind of OC seems to be typical for a Q9450.

                      No idea, but you need an 8-12 hour test on Orthos.

                          About 3.4ghz max on air. It will require extra volts.
