Radiator suggestion

Is this radiator any good? I can't fit water cooling system in the case, so I am looking for out board solution.

Not really, no. Thermaltake are known for their poor watercooling parts. Most users try to stick well away from them.

The two most advised products are:

To be honest, Thermaltake make OK air cooling products, but don't touch their watercooling stuff. Get one of the radiators above and 4 medium speed Yate Loon fans for a push pull config.

Thanks a lot. :thumbsup: Thermaltake did offer some package for out board system, but I'm not sure about their performance. It is intended to cool down single Phenom 9850 plus NVIDIA MCP and not for extreme overclocking. Previous experience shows that my case doesn't like >100W CPU. Can you post link to the Yate Loon fan that you mentioned? I can't find the one like what you described from my sources.

That's the 2200rpm version though. There should be a slower one or you buy a PWM thing to reduce the voltage from 12v to 5v, thus slowing the fans. If you don't mind a bit of noise, those fans rock the socks.

They are 88cfm @ 40dB

Ha! Two of these will make the radiator sounds like 767 in your room. Definitely will get variable speed fans.

Yup. Also look around for radiator feet. It's like a stand for your radiator.

After doing a little search, I found this one and the online vendor in the US:

With all the y-cable and sensor-to-molex, the total cost is still under $70 before shipping. Thank god I ask here before went into Thermaltake. Thanks Alex. :salute:

I give up northbridge cooling because I am not sure how long the fish tank pump would last. If anything fails, then I must have a back up plan before replacement parts arrives.

For radiator feet, I think I will modify another milk bottle into it.
