I've been looking for a new mouse (due to my wireless one's inability to transmit through an inch-thick table). G5 looks like the strongest competitor at the moment, and I can't see any reason why I shouldn't buy it.
So I guess the only thing I want from you guys is to help me choose the mat. I used to use a generic cloth/foam one, before a friend spilt her malibu & coke all over it whilst ordering a pizza. And since then I've just been using it straight on the desk, which is annoying because the mouse feet pick up loads of crap.
So what should I be looking for, I've heard that glass mousemats are a "league-above", but are they worth the hefty price tag?
Size is also a consideration, I need to measure my desk to see what space I have left, but I doubt an uber-large mat will fit.
