Are you still buying a prebuilt? Why not order the parts seprately, you can often get better deals and quality parts, putting a computer together really isn't that hard. It's like Legos lol, just follow the instructions that come with the mobo/graphics card/etc. :)

Post it here. Also Newegg is a well-known online hardware seller, and you might have some computer shops near you.

Wizrdwarts, I don't think Newegg.com sell things across the pond. They even have different shipping policy to HW and AK.

Robert, I don't see anything wrong with this rig. This is very close to what Field just bought. I don't know what kind of vendor there you have in UK, but build-your-own is always better than pre-built unless you are looking for time-saving and tech support measure. There are plenty of people who are willing to provide help and consultation, so feel free to post any of your proposed purchase here.

Yoyo has some pretty nice custom builts, all you have to do is choose which part you want. I got mines from Yoyo for 763 pounds including VAT.

We can help you choose the parts and if you aren't confident putting it together yourself you can have a PC shop do it for you.. But it's really not that hard.. Also I wouldn't be getting an ASUS motherboard go for a gigabyte not only do they have a lower return rate than ASUS but they also have everything marked on the actual board which makes it a bit easier for first time builders..


P.S. Building it yourself is not only a lot cheaper but really rewarding when it works and it teaches you alot ^_^
