Windows Gayness

Hey guys, just quick question.

Where could I download SP3? A link would helpful. Also, do I need SP2 in order to install?

When I got this computer all I had to do was install SP2 which came with my CD. But I used a different (Older) Windows install CD to install on this one... So I've never had to install/download any windows updates.

EDIT: Well, windows is stupid. I apparently have to do four seperate windows updates in order to reach the SP2 update... thats weird. It didn't even give me an alert or anything.

Do all of your Windows Updates from update.microsoft.com and install everything. When you have everything needed Windows Update will show you the option to install SP2, once that is installed and you restart it should give you the option to install SP3. I completed all updates on a fresh install with SP1 in about an hour.

Windows has become so royally borked for me and I've been so busy that I just decided to wait and start afresh with my new PC.

Looking at your system, you bought one from dell without paying attention to what you were doing, or asking about it on the forums.

Edit: Before you call me a dell hater, I am pro dell, and personally have an XPS410 and an XPS420

I bought it two years ago before I knew much about PC hardware, and have regretted it ever since, hence the new PC.
