I had similar probs, see what happens if you change mousepads. I changed from a normal mousepad to a QcK Steel gaming one and it works just fine :)Leave a comment:

Re: Mouse Accuracy
ok compare a G5 mouse to a Razor DeathAdder mouse.
i got this razor mouse it seems to be great but everyone talks about the G5 kind of like people talk about the 8800GT when they speak of gpusLeave a comment:

I'll see if there are any updates, but it worked just fine when I had my old PC. Thanks for the input, I'll take a look around.Leave a comment:

Re: Mouse Accuracy
I had the first gen G5 (one button mouse) and had the same problem. Logitech had some firmware updates that seemed to correct it for me. I now use a different mouse though and it seems more accurate than the G5.

Mouse Accuracy
Best section I could find to put this in. It applies to multiple games (BF2/CSS/etc.) so putting it in a specific game section didn't seem appropriate.
Basically, I'm on my brothers laptop - and have hooked up my G5 mouse for gaming, specific games include: CSS/Combat Arms/BF2. However, I've noticed that while ingame (as in playing, not the menu screen) I'm not able to aim at certain pixels/parts of the screen.
It's not like there's a "dead zone" where I can't aim everytime I play, it's more like there are random pixels that I can't move my crosshair into. I think it may be a sensitivity issue, but it just seems weird that the mouse moves fine normally, but when ingame (for both games) there are areas where I can't aim.
If anybody has any ideas, please let me know. Thanks.Tags: None
