    Just an update for you all - I posted my problem on the OCZ forum, and after BIOS updates and further problems when trying to change voltages/timings/frequency in the BIOS, I was PMmed RMA info. I'll send it off tomorrow, and fingers crossed the new RAM fixes my problem!

    Tbh I'd blame the motherboard more than the memory, but we'll see what happens...

      Random guess: Power supply problem? bad voltages will cause freezes I think.

        I have a suspicion about that...that said i'm paranoid about everything to do with my PC these days..the stupid thing hasn't worked right since I built it!

        I have a new motherboard/CPU on the way (EVGA 680i, E8500) from scan.co.uk due Friday. I'll report back then..
