Internet Connection

Hey All, i currently have a problem with my other pc, the problem is that for all of a sudden, my internet isn't working. iv checked all cables and they seem to be fine, when i open Network places i get :

Internet Gateway - Internet Connection - Connected

&

LAN or High-Speed Internet - Local Area Connection - Connected, Firewalled

The Lan/High speed connection does show an IP address within the >Status>Support section (which in my eyes is telling me im on the internet) i also got a Subnet mask & Default gateway showing.

now, when i try to do : Run>Cmd> ipconfig /all , i get some error like : command not recognised internally or externally, operable programme or batch file.

Running Windows XP , SP2 (i think)

Windows released numerous updates last night that have confused some firewalls, most notably Zone Alarm. Turn off the firewall for use and reinstall when you have time.

My dad said the same thing as soon as i came home from work :)

I had the exact same problem, and managed to reset my router before I thought to disable ZoneAlarm.

What really had me confused was that I could ping various servers, but not access mail or web.
