Like the 900, it has 2 front fans, 2 top fans and 1 rear fan. Again, it is an EXACT copy of the 900, onlt difference is that the fan speeds aren't adjustable like in the 900.

the antec 900 has 1 top fan and its a 200mm fan

I have an antec 900 and I'm happy with it. It gets the job done fine and it looks pretty cool.

Seriously, go with a NZXT Tempest.

It was tested in MaximumPC in there recent issue for budget case and came out on top.

In Denmark the cheapest price is $189, which is more than the Antec 900. And I don't think having it shipped from newegg in the US will improve much on that equation

So, I can see that some of the cases support "Extend-ATX", is that something i should worry about if I want a future-proof case?

Thanks, if I end up spending more than $200 on a case, it better last me 5+ years.

So far the Antec 900 seems like the best value for money.
But researching the Termaltake Armor va8003bws lead me to the new Armor+ vh6000bws with removable MB tray, and that is a very desirable feature. Expensive too, but I guess that is what the "+" means

Meh, removable tray is okay, but not necessary.

If you are going to spend a lot on a case, don't buy a stupid looking one. I grew out of the Antec Nine Hundreds looks after a year and a bit of having it. I wanted something that looked higher quality.

I don't mind a bit of sci-fi look. After all it is basically a toy, no reason that it should look like a workstation.
Besides the moving lights will keep the kids hypnotized while I play.



I think the P180 series look a bit dull, but that is a matter of taste.

There have been quite a few times when i wished my case had a slide out mobo tray. :hmm:
Its a nice feature, but you usually only find it on more expensive cases.

I supposed I could mount a couple of sunglasses on it
But it looks to me like it may not have enough room for the larger PSUs



Currently my inner scorecard favors the Antec 1200. Plenty of room, dustfilters, cable management holes and three-speed fans with external controls.

Currently I have a Corsair TX650 with should cover my needs for some time. In fact I may never need a larger one. But then again who knows what the power requirements are three years from now? And the TX 650 is already a bit on the large side at 15cm.

Bear in mind that you could just remove that fan and put it elsewhere in the case.

I actually had one of these Antec 900. For efficient cooling, it is very good indeed. I didn't even use all the fans availabe. However, there is a catch. If you want to go water cooling if the future, this case can only take out-board water cooling system. To hold resevoir, pump and heat exchanger inside, serious rebuild on the case is required. It can be done. It just needs some effort. Otherwise an outboard cooling through the case hose inlet/outlet isn't bad.
