    [GUIDE] Playing all Video/Audio Formats

Playing all Videos: AVI, MKV, OGM, MOV and otherwise
    1. Install the Combined Community Codec Pack.
    2. Install MPC for simplicity, or install Zoom player for shiny WMP-like interface.
    3. Flame K-lite for using 2 decoders to decode the same thing (not healthy for Directshow)
    4. Flame VLC for hard problem diagnosing (is it the codec? or is it the program?)
    4. ???
    5. You're done. (ie: Profit)

Optionally, you can read up on what CCCP is comprised of.

Alternative Music Players (not WMP, iTunes)
    - Reasons: Takes too long to start up, don't like the whole OOH SHINY trend, want a different perspective with music players
    1. Winamp
    2. foobar2000 (now install some plugins and Columns/Panels UI)

foobar + VLC works fine for me, no codec packs required (apart from the .ape codec for foobar, but I've only got one album in that format so meh).
