    xFire not working in-game,

i havnt used xfire in a while but ive been using it for the past couple of weeks. It first didnt work in-game, then it worked for a day, then it stopped working completely. Tried it on wic, and bf2, but it still didnt work. I have it binded to scroll lock + x and ive tried switching it to something else, but that did not work. Ive also tried reinstalling, rebooting, and redetecting my games with no luck. It works perfectly fine on desktop. It used to work perfectly fine on bf2.

Anyone have any solutions? Any help will by much appreciated :salute:

hardware in sig, nvidia driver version : 7519.

Do you have Fraps running? If so, turn it off.

Make sure all your games are in the folders you initially installed them. That what happen to me when I moved my COD4 folder to a new hard drive instead of installing it again, X Fire didn't log my hours, and it never reognized that I was playing COD4 and it didn't work in game.

if it still don't works, then get in game, press letf ctrl + esc , then restart xfire by loging in and out and get back in game.

you can use xfire to display your fps

scroll lock and x and in the top left corner you can see the fps display, then click the arrow beside it to get it to display in games.

Woah, big revelation for me. FRAPS is now not going to be turned on at startup if I find this to be true.

Doesn't work for all games though TinFoil... you can also have the clock stuck at the top center of the screen (which I find useful in CoD4 for BFE so I know when to rotate maps)

Thats an awesome feature. One can put the fps display wherever they want on the screen. Plus, xfire now supports video capture. So long, fraps.
