Headsets

Recently the mic on my Creative Fatility headset has broken

But im not that fussed because i got it for free

I was looking into getting a new one and wasnt to sure what to get.

The main one iv been looking at is the SpeedLink Medusa ProGamer
Its a 5.1 surround sound headset, not sure how this would work, but sounds cool.

Obviously there is the razer Barracuda, slightly more expensive.

All the Steelseries head sets

Then the sennheiser ones.

Im using an Asus Xonar soundcard and just wondering what you guys thought and what headsets and mics you use (its nice to have a loud clear mic, not that i know what mines like atm)

Good headset, and vibrates which is wierd at first.

I have a set of speedlink medusa 5.1 progamers and theyre absolutely fantastic. They also come with a vibrate function which is kinda weird at first but you soon get used to it. It changed my gaming completely for me, i always used cheap headsets with kak sound until i got these, and the 5.1 on them is amazing. you can hear the enemy crawling along in the grass halfway across the map lol. But they can be a bit tricky to set up too as they come with a seperate amp which then has a million and one jacks to go into your machine but worth it in the end :)

Well worth the money imo.
