Wifi itsself isnt a problem is you have a decent connection, my WLAN never lag spiked, the problem is the internet connection and what sorta ping/speed you get uploading.

Heres some similar ones with different processors, all based on the ncidia 8800m, does fullscreen blueray movies, decent sound card and the 2 more expensive ones had 4gb of ram.

I dont know what sort of price one of these in the US, but you shold be able to get it under $3000
