I just went and bought a 1GIG stick of ram, I had 1 GIG before. Now it says I only have 756, WHISKEY TANGO FOXTROT. Can anyone help plox.

Are both sticks of RAM the same speed/type? Try both sticks separately and see if they both work ok, and run CPU-Z (google it, I'm not your mother) to see the details of each.

did your sytem recognise new hardware / ram ecause some mother boards reset bios to default and activate on board graphics .

if you have 256 onboard graphics this is your loss check the bios
