EVDO isn't DUN. A 40 MB map at home is like 10 to 13 minutes. Seems like forever when you are in TS and listening to people dying around you.

The problem isnt the speed of the connection its the latency between the signal being sent and recieved from the server. Its a combination of all the signal conversions that are inherent to connecting in the way that you do and there is very little can be done.
As for laying a cable into the nearest town.... LOL you wud need a couple of line amplifiers for thatComment

check all the setting again as I recently had crash after bfe game and all my mp settings had reverted to default ....... pm me if needed.....Comment

my config has everything turned off except shadows and bullet damages, gets good bullet reg and on the normal maps (crash/strike ect)
its really low graphics though, 1024x768 resolution and everything low so u can see people easier
i got 250 fps prettry much constant with a few flickers with a 8800GTS
