so i was searchin ta webz to watch Ironman and so idiotically / accidentally installed spyware nowz i get this message when i search around




so when i clix okay, it asks me to install the following programme (i aint coz i just know its gunna fk my pc up more)(i think :P)



any1 have any ideas on how 2 locate and get rid of this shiz? im currently doing a virus scan with Avast and will do spyware checkes after my avast is finished

(and yes, i do got MAPLESTORY on my pc :P but i dont play it)

Restore your pc to just before that spyware installed itself.There should be a few restore points on your pc.

Yeah, or if you have ad-aware use that. It fixes most of my problems. I run it every few days along with avg and cc cleaner.

Every time you click yes on that pop-up, I would presume that you are letting about 10 trillion different trojans into your computer. At this stage, all I would recommend would be to reinstall Windows.

hey dood a few things to do that will clear it. and it will be fine I would do all !!!!!!!!

1 firstly folder options and show hidden folders , then empty localsetting/temp folder ( usually were ad or spy stuff gets in )

2 clear internet cache (all including pw.s) also check internet options (add ons for any you dont want )

3 switch off system restore then switch it back on again (this will empty resotore including regestry info for malware ect)

4 hard switch off computer (power off not shut down ) this will prevent malware ect from writing new script links )

5 start comp do spyware scan and av scan and you will find every thing is ok

That message you see is a way to get you to think that your system needs their software and is made to look like windows warning screen if you do what i suggest it will not happen and the local settings temp folder will always be the bypass route for malware ect so make short cut and then folder options dont show hidden files / that way you will be able to manually empty the system temps when you want i do it before evey shutdown. some may not leave that folder (being used by a program )

It's just a pop up, don't click anything, only the [X].
If you're unsure anyway, just do a system restore to a few days back.
Ofcourse if you actually download it, then you have alot of **** to get rid of.

well seen as windows likes to be gay and wont restore to any of my previous points iv done, im just gunna format, pc is full of crap anyway so prob my best option

first turn off system restore. You can use CCleaner to do most of those task automated. When running select every option and clean then do a registry clean.

- do as said above - however u shouldnt need to reinstall windows because of this popup - it is a simple display cell virus which places only a few small viruses on ur pc - use ccleaner and system restore if ness - if that still doesnt work contact me and i can give u a stronger program that has a 99.9% chance of clearing it up - i have had to deal with so many of these types of viruses over the years - dont worry - this should easy to sort with no damage to ur system or personal files.
