IE and Standard Programs have Disappeared

    The XP disk would be a CD or DVD with a Microsoft label on it that says "Windows XP Home" or Pro, with SP2 most likely.

    It sounds like you have system recovery disks, not the actual Operating System disk.

    You are now running IE7 right?

    I'll look into this more tomorrow when I'm actually "awake". :) I'll try and get something posted.

      Ill talk to my pops and see if he has the disk. He said he gave me all of them for my comp, but idk. IE7 is correct. Thanks.
