Woohooo! Namechange works!

After almost a full night of pulling my hair out with this mod, I decided to skip it and write my own, based off of the one we were using. I did that, and tried moving the edit username section to a different part of the user CP, and it worked perfectly!

SO.....

To edit your username, go to your User CP, and click on "Edit Profile & Username." Under "Optional Information" you will see a section to edit username. It works all the time, with no limits on how many namechanges you can do. The only restriction is that the two usernames you enter (the first and the 'confirm') must match.

Let me know if there are any bugs.

The thing he didn't add was that, I think he had Me, Killuaxc and Poko trying to figure it out too. I thought I had it quite a few times, but with no avail.

Zweibz I think you can add a point to yourself for this one, or two. NVM looks like you have, you can't give yourself points!

the two boxes that don't have labels are the "new username" and "confirm username" boxes. fill those out and hit submit.

Yeah apparently overnight vBulletin removed all the new phrases I added for my mod. I just added them again, and I'll try to figure out exactly why this is happening later today.

Humm it did it again. Time to hard-code some text :)

Hokay everything should work fine except the error message if you enter mismatching usernames.

When I get back to my room I'm going to try making this into a product I can import, and maybe the phrases will stay that way.
