Site Navigation Issues

I thought I saw a similar thread about this, but I think it may have been in with another topic. Anyway, the issue that I'm having is that when I go to the main page of the site and click on the Forums link, it will sometimes take forever to go there, or many times it will just time out.

If I click three, four, five times, then it will eventually work. Once I get in, so long as I don't click on the link to go back to the main forum page, I'm fine, navigation is fine. But, if at any point I click on the link to go back to the main list of threads, I have the same issue. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

I thought I saw someone mention to use the bfecod.com address instead of the bfecod.totalgamingnetwork.com address, and that worked for about a day. Now, when I try to go to bfecod.com it just redirects me to the totalgamingnetwork address.

Any ideas?

Oh, also, I noticed that the map at the main page is incorrect, it still shows Coalition holding more cities and territories. The day that I got the bfecod.com address to work, the map was correct and I had no navigation issues. Now, I'm back to the same issues as before.

I've tried clearing ALL cache from IE7 (temp files, history, etc.), I've tried browsing using Firefox instead of IE, and I've tried flushing the DNS resolver cache...all to no avail...

If anyone has any suggestions, I would be most appreciative.

Its the same for everyone. What I do is click on the Private Messages link on the right first, cause it loads fast and then click on whatever after that. Usually its faster that way.

Thanks for the tip! It would be nice if there was a resolution to it, but at least it's a good work around.

i dont have a problem at all with going to the forums. Its fast for me.

Actually, I've noticed that yesterday and today, they've been very speedy with no problems hitting the main page of the forums.

The map on the main page is still incorrect, but the forums are the fastest I've seen them since I joined back in December.

Yea during break week and the week before it took forever to load. Seems fine now. Its probably cuz we r on the same server box as the totalgamingnetwork.


EDIT: Its cuz of the gTeamspeak.

So we've found out that part of the website's slow-ness has come from the gTeamspeak plugin.
