Multiplayer Will Not Load

I have played the game before and it ran perfectl;y and one day i just got on (through steam) and i clicked on COD4 and hit the multiplayer button the small loading box comes up for about 2 seconds then goes away and the game never loads and does not give me a error or anything...help

Had this problem for COD UO. Do Ctrl Alt Del and see if the multiplayer is loaded up at all. Sometimes it loads up but doesn't load the game (if that makes sense at all). I normally just ended the task then tried again.

basically doing Ctrl Alt Del will bring up a list of processes that your computer is currently running if one of them is iw3mp.exe (and the game will not load) then try clicking on that and pressing 'End Process' (as it means the game has opened but not properly loaded). then try starting up again. this is all the advice i can give as in COD UO this fixed the problem for me.
