CoD4 - SP v MP

I'm sure this is a simple fix, but when playing MP there are no issues and the game runs fine. Playing SP, though, is another issue. It asks for the DVD to be inserted every time. Never does this in MP. I know there's a modded version of the .exe that fixed this, but then you can't play online.

Vista on Toshiba laptop, 2GB ram 2.2Gig dual core processor. Any ideas?

It's a requirement for the COD series as far as I know... for SP you must insert the disc. I'm sure there is a utility out there that over runs this, but I don't know of one. It's not a bug if thats what your asking.

Actually, most games tend to ask for a disk when playing Sp and not in MP.

Just the way the world turns.
