Weird name tag problem

As some of you that played last night may have noticed I played with the tag: E/2|Mne.Cooper... Obviously E/2 doesn't exist. And it should be: E/4... But the mod just didn''t change the tag in the game, whatever I did...

I changed the tag to E/4, reconnected, E/2 again in stead of E/4...

I even changed the tag, rebooted my pc, checked the tag (was ok), reconnected... And again... I was E/2

In the end I felt really lonely in my own company... But atleast I can give myself the medal for MVP!!

The only thing I didn't do was deleting the mod from my Cod4... But anybody else got some options?? Or had the same problem??

they know about it, it changed my rank yesterday from Efr to Mne

Its because thats what your in the database as, so you must have connected with those names during battle 1. I'll change them now, but just so everyone knows: the first time you connect to a bfe server with a bfe tag I'll use that tag to rank you.

I have a similar problem, ish.
When I used my tags [7RS]Pol.UnReaL
It said this on the screen.


And apparently I didnt have a special image when people were spectating me :S
Although the mod didnt change my tag

I think Jack has to update the "list" file that the mod refers too, but I think anyone with access to the ftp (SAs, admins etc) should be able to update the "list"

The fix I did for UnReal will fix your problem too. What was happening was that because I originally only had E, F, Y, Z teams, only those teams were being checked against the correct ranks. This meant that [SF], [CMIR], [2], and [7RS] were all being checked against coal ranks (default) hence it couldnt find any of the oppo ranks in there and defaulted to the lowest coal rank (Mne).

And ATM only I can update the rank database.

Im still getting the problem where I appear on screen as [7RS]Pol.UnReaL.
Also I dont have the ability to call attack choppers (same for ndz). Are we classed as officers in the DB?
