Errors: Need Help

OK, first installed the new patch and I got locked outta of my Signal Player mode. Had to unistall and reinstall to work again.

Second, I try to play online and I get the ERROR ... Key Code in use ... yes I waited over 30 minutes to release.

Hi Chris,
This reply prob isn't much use, but...COD4 has a unique key code for every copy. If your key code is already in use, it means some hacking, robbing piece of **** has nicked your key code and is using it online. Activision said they reckon 50% of the copies of the game are hacked (Dunno why they don't block them).

All I can suggest is getting on to Activision support for a new key code.

Not always, I have had keycode in use before when i pinged out on a server. I waited roughly 40 minutes and hey it was fine.

Yeah, I've had that message too. I got from his post that it was the first time he'd tried the multiplayer. I might have misunderstood, though (Read: probably misunderstood)

Yeah, I tried for about two hours and nothing ....:evil:

When you ping out, the Activision servers still think you are still playing with your CD Key. Which you aren't, which is stupid. Trust me, I was out of commission with CoD2 for a while with this problem.
