    Home plug

Well i've just received my Home plugs for my PC. What they are is just Plugs that you put into a wall and run an Ethernet cable from the plug to your PC, so you can carry ADSL signals through you're lines to the other socket up stairs for instance.

Now the problem i have is, i've plugged them into the Router/PC, set them up via Driver install and the Utility on my PC says it isn't connected. I check the Network card in the back and the 2 lights are Yellow and Orange.

Are these supposed to be green? whats the problem? the lights on the Home plug are all Green signalling there plugged in properly, is it my network card messing up somewhere?

    Feedback please, thansk.

Jeez, NonDot...this is something I doubt many people will know a lot about. I would love to get these in my house, as they are so tidy. Sorry I can't help with ya prob though.
Do you not have any technical support included...or is it the usual rip off scenario of £1.50 a minute to speak to "Dave" in New Delhi ??

Hmmm well, i've narrowed it down to me having an onboard Network card and it not picking it up.

I've found a PCI card (http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Perip...roductId=28527), If i install this card IN my PC will it work with the Ethernet cables i have? or is it for those phone lines?

Not too sure NDZ, just looked at the specs and they don't say anything that leads me to believe it will work with home plugs....why don't you ask them the question, via the link nr. the bottom of their page.
