My fiance's brother just bought COD4 last night and we thought it would be awesome to play on the same server (His computer is in the next bedroom).
The moment he logged onto the server I got that "losing connection" icon in the game as I was shooting an enemy. =/ What really ticks me off is that this hasn't happened in MMOs and other games when my fiance' and I would play through the same router.
Anyway, my fiance's brother and I are playing through the same router - a Linksys WRT54GS.
I'm directly connected to the router, but his is connected via wireless.
My question is: How can I fix this so we can both play on the same server? Do I need to forward ports, and if so, which ones? Any help in this issue would be appreciated. Thanks!
