So a Radeon HD3870 is better then the GeForce 8800 GT?

I'm looking to buy a new vid card say under $250 that is gonna let me play CoD4 on maximum settings and still get good fps..

I get between 80-120 FPS on all the stock maps, with every graphics setting on max (res 1650x1080), with a 8800gt, my second 8800gt will be ordered once 9 series comes out and the price drops more:)

Then i can play Crysis on maxed out settings its nearly there now, but thats with dx10 off, and it looks so much crisper with it on.

Its one of those things, theres the Nvidia lot on one side and ATI on the other, each saying theres is better, than the other, and from what i have seen, i would say ATI is slightly better than Nvidia, on a Windows based OS. But over the time i have had ATI cards there has always been some problem along the way, and "touchwood" and i have never had any problems with Nvidia.
