[Solution] Xfire crashing game

Well until there is an xfire update for the game. There are 2 solutions.

1. Turn off xfire completely before joining a server (Completely quitting the program, not just logged off)

2. Turn off xfire in-game

How To Turn Off X-Fire Ingame

1. Go to TOOLS/Options
2. Chat Tab
3. Uncheck "Show chat message in game"
4. Click OK
5. Done

just for those who didn't know about the problem (A LOT of you were asking about this over xfire to me)

NOTE: You can turn xfire back on once you have entered the server. Just tab out and turn it back on or repeat the InGame xfire steps but check the Show Chat messages in game.

alltrough turning off xfire ingame messages didnt work for meh ;d

xfire just needs to be UPDATED ;d

For me it only crashes on our server. If i open up COD4 and go into a random server, it works fine. I know it's xfire related, but why does it only do it to me on our servers???

Cause it changes the mod in bfe servers.

Go on a BFE server, disconnect. You'll notice the 'modern warfare' becomes 'ModXXX Warfare' :)!

As it has already been mentioned somewhere, the Xfire is conflicting with a certain CB file or something like that, and closes yur game..

Yeah well obviously a lot of people havn't read that other thread as I got aprox. 15 xfires saying 'I keep crashing'
