New to BFE and need assistance

Hello, I'm new to BFE and need some assistance.

I signed up before we were able to choose a division. Now, I see that functionality is complete, but I can't seem to find out how to do it. My Profile does not have the "Join a Division" link specified in another post.

Also, I have two clanmates so far who would like to join. But, we'd like to be assured that we could play together and be in the same unit. One is already registered (El-Gorko) and the other has not registered yet (VT_Nerd).

hello, well, about joining a division...
you should be going
usercp -> edit profile -> join a division *yes*
if you're doing that but can't find it, pm an admin and they should be able to help you out
about the clanmates being in the same company, that's an admin thing also :P

Thanks for taking the time to answer. But, as I stated in the OP, I do not have the "Join A Division" link or anything like that in my profile. It is not there. I can't be clearer.

I see in my usercp under "Group Memberships" that I can be identified as "Civilian" or "Delta Company Grunt". Perhaps this means that my side was selected for me and I'm in Delta?

If that's the case, it's kinda jumping the gun a little bit, as I was trying to coordinate with my clan mates on what side we'd be on before picking...

You've been assigned to Delta Company, on the Coalition side. You can change your name to the Coalition-Blue in that "Group Memberships" area you talked about.

If your clan mates want to be in the same company, all they have to do is register and then PM me and I'll sort them out.

The way the new signup/registration works seems to automatically put someone on a side if they choose "join a division" in the registration process (although that may be a hidden field and set as "yes" by default, meaning all new users get automatically assigned to a random division to save on them having to go through 2 signups)

Ive added El-Gorko to Delta company with you and changed both your usernames to show your divisions colour (blue for coalition/allies) :salute:

Please see this thread (it's in the Delta company forums where you will signup for a platoon and find information on anything to do with your company)
