I put this list together for M3t, but its got your basic components and I was trying to stay around £500. Also, VonBarter has an AMD processor and a ATI vid card, this has a Intel core2duo and Nvidia - its all about preference tbh, but the Intel are benchmarking better at this time.

the list that vonbarter put up is pretty much the exact computer i have (a few budget cuts in the HD, DVDrom, and case department). I run CoD4 on pretty much all highest settings and get 90 fps, so if that's what your looking for, i recommend it

the components that trin has put together look pretty good too, but since i haven't tried it (way out of my budget lol. killuaxc = poor college student), I can't vouch for it. Ask M3t how cod4 is on it i guess?

Absolutely not! He cannot put it together, I wouldn't suggest trying to overclock. FYI - also the 6750 has a faster FSB than the 6600.

You can find the same or similar on Overclockers or whereever, thats just a list of parts.

The parts, etc. may be stolen to an extent, HDD, DVD/CDs, however RAM most probably will not be compatible w/ the newer mobos. Just an FYI.

Although the AMD may be cheaper, the Intel is still almost 5x's better...

I have the Q6600 Quad Core, and I love it! I've had it for a few months...I believe i got it just after it came out tbh...don't remember.
